I would not recommend taking a pedal bike to them !!!!!! Fred is not a man of his word and does not take accountability for his mistakes. He will tell you a time , when it comes to that time , he will need more time. Complete run around , nonchalant behavior when approached about these behavior’s and no consideration for the customer. My finance has lost 2 jobs because of not having a car due to his lack of communication and effort to handle things the correct way. He got my car January 17 ,2025. From Jan-Feb it was on us with allocating money , figuring out how we gone pay and wondering about warranty that we had on the car. One we located the warranty we gave it to him. From Feb-March 27 is all on the warranty company, they taking their time coming out to evaluate the car and approve of the work. Granted . He called us March 28,2025 and said they approved the work and he will being working on the car and it should be done by Easter. Easter was on a Sunday , meaning the car should be done the Friday before or the Monday after. We call him Monday , he states that he was running behind and needed 4-5 days more. Gave him until Friday. Friday comes around , he needs more time. Monday comes around , he states that this is the last day and I’m trying. Now today is Tuesday and he’s still stating he needs more time. Not only is this an inconvenience for my family and I , but it’s devastating to have to report unprofessional business when the owners look like me. I’m all for supporting black owned business, but not after this. He has put a bad taste in my mouth on men being responsible and businesses running things the correct way. I’m greatly disappointed in this auto shop and I hope they get shut down eventually. Either that or someone is going to really hurt Fred. For real.

All cars are not Equal!
What I learned from Mr. Fred after calling him in reference to my sister’s car. My sister had taken her 2001 vehicle to him to have her brakes repaired. After he finished the work my sister called and told me she left still needing her brakes repaired! I called the business for an explanation as to why this was the case. Mr Fred stayed on the phone with me for twenty minutes and gave me a mechanics 101 class imo. There are good reviews and bad reviews on his site and I understand not all were brakes related. I can only speak to her particular situation. There are many factors to consider as well as the problems that can occur after starting repairs. The unexpected issues can turn into more work and possibly new parts. In my sister’s case there were three calibers that could not be removed due to the screws being so imbedded therefore; causing him not to be able to bleed the breaks without forcibly removing them. And to do so would have incurred more damage. She would have needed three new calibers in order for him to even be able to bleed the breaks. The prior owners of the 2001 vehicle neglected to have the breaks maintained. My sister recently purchased the vehicle thinking to easy, I will just have the breaks repaired, and there in lies the problem. If the vehicle had been better maintained by the previous owner, Mr. Fred could’ve repaired it. However; it was not and she needed to come off of more money in order to get the vehicle back in proper working condition. I appreciate him taking the time to break down the mechanics of what many of us do not understand. You can be quoted an initial price but when the unexpected occurs that’s where the money count can exceed the initial expectations.

Horrible customer service, Ms. Robinson that answers there phone is absolutely horrible and unprofessional. They have had my car for over a month and never called me once to give me any updates on my car. I had to constantly call them for them to keep giving excuses after excuses and a further and further end date to finish my car. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone. Please save your time and money. They will definitely screw you over.
