I had an excellent experience with Jordan Hines at Christian Brothers while getting an oil change on my Tundra. He did a great job and was very thorough throughout the process. What stood out the most was how pleasant he was to work with never pushy, but instead helpful in walking me through what maintenance and repairs could be needed down the road versus what required immediate attention. Some of the work was taken care of during this visit, and I’ll definitely be returning to have the rest completed. Highly recommend Jordan for his professionalism, honesty, and customer care.

Customer service at Christian Brothers was genuinely kind. That said, my overall experience was frustrating and disappointing.

When I first came in, I already had a diagnosis and quote from my dealership. I was told by Christian’s that the dealership’s ~$5,000 estimate was “crazy,” and soo high, which gave me hope that the issue was either misdiagnosed or could be resolved for much less. That set the expectation that the dealership might be wrong.

After the first diagnostic, the issue was still unclear and unresolved. I was told the codes were cleared and the car was test-driven, but no definitive root cause was identified. Over the course of more than a month, I continued to wait for clarity.

Eventually, the final conclusion was that the problem was exactly what the dealership originally said it was, except now the repair estimate was even higher than the dealership’s, over $6,000.

That was the most disappointing and frustrating part: initially dismissing the dealership’s quote, only to later confirm it and ask for more money.

I don’t believe anyone was dishonest, but I do feel the situation was sugarcoated early on. I would have strongly preferred a more direct, realistic conversation from the beginning, even if the answer was unpleasant. The emotional whiplash of being given hope, then a month later ending up with a worse outcome, made the experience feel like a waste of time and resources.

What bothered me most was that their diagnosis continued to rely on language like “likely” and “may require replacement” For a repair this expensive, I expect more certainty. Needless to say, I went back to the dealership.

While I’m sure that they can do a great job with an oil change or routine maintenance, I “will likely” not return or recommend them for any complex or high-cost repairs.

After taking our vehicle to gettel hyundai for AC issues and them keeping the car for 2 days just to diagnose the problem at the tune of $315 and quoting $3200 to repair, but only after having the adaptive driving stick (handicap accessory) removed from another company we tried our luck with Christian Brothers in Bradenton. What a great experience! Complimentary evaluation, over $1000 LESS to fix the problem, driving stick was a non- issue, done the next day and the communication, honesty, and customer service were outstanding! We will be back to them for sure for all of our future needs

I’ve been extremely pleased with the quality of work Christian Brothers has done for me. Both of the vehicles I take to them are able to be repaired and maintained well. Ray the service manager is excellent and knowledgeable; a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Christian Brothers!
