I needed a mechanic to help me with a pre purchase inspection for private seller vehicle and I had previously found Malik’s YouTube channel and I liked the work he was doing so I sent him a message. He gave me a prompt response back asking for the detail of vehicle and the price of the service. One I sent my deposit Malik provided a link to book the appointment. Came day of the appointment Malik showed up as promised and gave his honest opinion of the vehicle I was purposes and was able to give me some insight on any future repairs I may need to invest in if I was going to purchase the vehicle but also reassured me that he would be willing to work with me if I wanted to take care of the repairs. He gave me confidence that I was making a decent purchase for what I needed the vehicle for. So I bought the vehicle for less than the seller was asking for (since Malik pointed out certain repairs needed).

A few months later I had a radiator leak so I contacted Malik once more stating what issue I was having, once more I was given a diagnosis deposit price, and once I paid I was given a link to book my appointment. I was a little afraid he wasn’t going to be available as it was the first week of the January but he wasn’t able to come out the VERY NEXT DAY! He showed up, confirmed it was a bad radiator and proceeded to aquire the necessary parts to replace the radiator. Malik completed the job that same day of which made me very happy as I rely on my vehicle to get to work and for other contracting jobs. Overall I’m very pleased with going with Malik as my mobile mechanic and I would recommend to anyone who may need one.

Malik came highly recommended but I will tell you for sure his customer service by far leaves much to be desired. His tone via text messages was rude and almost as if you are bothering him for services that you are going to pay for! He may be a great mechanic but please be prepared for an arrogant, he-doing-you-a favor attitude. I was genuinely excited to support a Black business owner, but NAH I’m good. You’ve been warned…

Hey y’all my experience started out good with this young man . I try and support my culture that’s in business but some people just don’t deserve me patronizing their business . How you gonna tell me that you’re doing me a favor and you’re being paid for your services. If you’re doing me a favor that means free . So please take that favor part back because it didn’t exist. This young man was unprofessional with me by not completing the job for me that he was being paid to do . He just tapped out on me ,reminds me of my bipolar ex wife everyday is just not the same don’t know where the person’s mind and all is coming from or going . I mean it’s just like he gave up on me because he brought back the wrong part . I don’t understand how a person could bring the wrong part back when I gave him the original part to match identically . I mean make it make sense people . And then he had the nerve to criticize talking about what he’s being paid is little bitty money . You were being paid by the prices that you set up not me .A job is a job no matter how big or small . I don’t understand how this cat cut me off when he’s the one that screwed up by not paying attention to small details. Now I’ve been called names like impatient just because I only asked him what was the move for today . Yeah he’s good at making repairs and diagnostics and all but his customer relations suck terribly and the attitude . You were never doing me a favor . You were hired to do a job that you were looking for any reason to not finish but anyways sir I’m Gucci just venting about my experience with you like everyone else . I feel better about this whole situation with you now that I’ve reviewed all of your negative reviews and why people have low rated you it lets me know that you’ve been this way it’s nothing new with you because I can relate to all of the low rates that you’ve gotten in the past because you’ve done me the same way. Y’all pay attention to these reviews because they are true the good and the bad I was never the problem man It was you all the time . I never cussed you out nor disrespected you but I’m labeled impatient for reaching out to you . And you claim that I spoke to you as if you were my child which is not true I spoke to you like a man supposed to speak to you . And y’all just get ready to be ignored too by this man . He can call you but you can’t call him you can only text him don’t call him y’all because these are his rules . If passion and skill was a person, it would be Malik. From beginning to the end, he clearly explained his process and set expectations. Finding a certified, knowledgeable Mechanic can be daunting, however when I contacted him, we felt our BMW Gran Coup was in good hands. Malik was able to diagnose the problem, and then offered his findings after diagnostics along with research and was able to get our car back in working condition. His price point for repairs was appreciated, and suggestions for the cost of parts were spot on. I’ll recommend Malik, and his services to anyone and look forward to working with him again.
