Been going to Lake Wylie Modern Dentistry since we moved here in 2023. Been great with regular check ups. Recently had to have a root canal and the specialist was awesome! Realized that they couldn’t do the root canal and suggested extraction. The staff are great! Very attentive and informative. Sydney remembered that I was coming in to get the tooth extracted and made a temporary tooth so I didn’t look homeless. Love how it’s a very friendly and home feeling environment. Highly recommended!!!!

I do not recommend this practice. They are money hungry. My husband and I both have been left with pretty debilitating pain after getting recommended procedures. They tell everyone they have periodontal disease and that they need a deep/root cleaning. My husband has been in excruciating pain since getting a root scaling and when asked about a follow-up, the front desk pretty much said not their problem go see a specialist. I got a crown and every time I floss, the area bleeds. I’ve gone back for adjustments bc it feels tight/pressure. Dr. Sneha looked at the area and did some tests then told me there is nothing wrong with the fit and to go see an endodontist for a root canal. I was not having any of these issues before going here. I 1000% regret going here and wish I never did as I’m left with an infection and having to spend money to correct their work.

Lake Wylie Modern Dentist is awesome!! The Doctor Alan, the hygienist Felicia, Sonia, and the Health Coordinator – Omar are all access to the success of this Dentist office. I came here a year ago after visiting many other Dental offices. None matched the professionalism, knowledge about product, and excellent customer services. Your treatment is top notched! In a very clean environment and modern office.

And, it’s an all in one dental business where you get excellent care top notched service from, cleaning, fillings, root canals, to crowns, and implants. With all Specialist in house. That says it all for me – all dental service on one location.

With very clean and modern office. Greeted to the utmost hospitality as soon as you walk in the establishment. Of course, Omar offer his top notched customer service to you as soon as you enter the office.

I can say with “Confidence” I highly recommend this establishment for all your dental needs.

I debated posting my review for years. But recently there have been more than one internet post about LW modern dental and the reviews in google DO NOT reflect the overwhelmingly negative experiences I have been seeing.
We came here a few years ago and my husband needed a good amount of work according to them. He was required to take FOUR DAYS off of work to get the work done. They claimed that it was for insurance reasons. They claimed they could only do one side at a time. They gave us an estimate of all of the work that needed done…a print out. Then when he already got the first days work done, they charged us more than what they had originally quoted us for 1/4 the amount of work. My husband was too embarrassed to say anything. I had an appointment(my second because they made me have two appointments for a TEETH CLEANING-Ridiculous). And I expressed my frustration that we were told the work was going to be 1/4 of what they charged us. The Manager, in the middle of the very small waiting room, started raising her voice at me to the point of almost yelling at me and told me the person who gave us the estimate no longer worked there and that the estimate was wrong. This obviously made me livid- the way I was being spoken too and her explanation. I didn’t have a perfect reaction to how she was treating me and felt I was rude, so I did apologize to her for my response- she absolutely did not apologize to me though her reaction, in my opinion, was worse and unprofessional.
In the end, we went to a different dentist for a second opinion and what do you know.. he needed WAY less work for FAR less money and they could complete the work in 1 day. LW modern dental is the most ridiculous excuse for a business and I, as well as many many locals, would never recommend. I have never seen a good review for them, outside of google.

Great first visit! From Omar to Sarah, everyone is very friendly. Dr. Alan explained my exam results thoroughly and I didn’t feel pressured or hurried. Excited to finally find a dentist where I feel comfortable and have confidence!
