Just got back from work in New Mexico as I’m in the military and found a letter in the mail from this dental clinic saying I owed 50 dollars for a schedule change within 24 hours. This alone would’ve been completely fine had it not been for me calling to see if it was ok that I could even reschedule in the first place. Had I known it was so problematic, I could’ve easily kept my original appointment.
The person I spoke with told me that I was set for a new appointment at a later date, not that I owed 50 dollars and can’t come back. After just getting back from my work trip, I noticed I got the 50 dollar bill in the mail and it is now due today and no other means of knowing that it was headed my way. I’ve called multiple times today to clear up the issue but receive no response after 2 hours.
I will not be paying the bill in keeping with my legal rights under the surprise medical bill act and I will be referring my fellow soldiers elsewhere.

ive been to Dr. Kelly since i was a little kid. Hes an awesome dentist and a super cool and genuine guy. all of the staff is sooo friendly too. i NEVER dread coming here. with an appointment, im in and out for my 6mo cleanings within 20 minutes.
