Dental hygienist was amazing! Dr Smith and Dr Kelly are so thorough and explanatory that you have no questions when finished! They have the LATEST equipment that shows EVERYTHING in your mouth!

The staff are very friendly and I loved Dr. Smith and his service. I can’t say anything negative about the staff other than the deceptiveness about insurance.

My wife and I moved out of county and just started with a new insurance. We were told that the dentist office takes our insurance and ignorantly mistook that they were “in-network.” This is something we are not accustomed to and never experienced before, so we had no idea that there was a difference.

Despite being out of network, the billing department gave me a pre-treatment estimate based on my insurance ID that was similar to other customers. They never sent a pre-treatment estimate through my insurance like I had asked. My insurance confirmed they would have flagged it if it was sent to them and I would have been notified that the expenses would be much higher.

The estimate was hundreds and even closer to thousands of dollars less than what my insurance actually covered. I got stuck in a situation where I had to pay over $2,000 for treatment that would normally cost me half the amount. There were no warnings about being out of network even when I mentioned that I have never paid for a cleaning, X-rays, exams, etc.

It seems like the warning was hidden from my wife and I to maintain business with us due to the fact that if my wife and I were aware of any of this, we would have found another dentist.

On the day of service I was told I owed an agreeable amount of money (which was paid). Weeks after I receive a bill for several hundreds of dollars more.

I have had a lot of dental work done in the past and have never experienced anything quite like this. They were kind enough to be able to give me a very small courteous discount which was better than nothing.

I spoke with my insurance and somebody who works with dentistries and insurances and they both mentioned notifying the Georgia Board of Dentistry about the situation.

Again, all of the staff were very helpful and kind workers. The work that was done on me was handled professionally. However, please beware of the high cost and make sure to confirm if they are in-network or not to avoid being stuck in a situation like me and paying fortunes for dental work.

The team at Mountain View Dental is super kind and Dr. Ryan is amazing. They provide wonderful service and is very familiar with their clients. They remember you and what may be going on in your life which is very important to me. Awesome practice!!

It was my first ever crown procedure. I was a little anxious, but Dr Kelly and Kimberly my at Mountain View Dental took all fears away. It went very smoothly, and I appreciate the high quality of treatment given me.
