Love this place… staff are really friendly and takes their time answering questions. Doctor is super sweet and kind. Had a few procedures and she always reassured me and checks on my comfort level throughout the entire process.. I also appreciate the transparency on costs so you’re not in for a surprise. Glad I found this place! Highly recommend.

I just want to say, from start to finished, I had a really good experience. When I called to to schedule an appt because my bridge came off, I was able to get seen the same day. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The two doctors who worked on me was great. The main doctor listen to my pain and concerns and the other doctor who worked on my root canal was quick. The assistant, Ms. Vong was sweet, knowledgeable, and very friendly. She took her time to explained things to me before when doing anything. Overall, I highly recommend this place. This place is clean, staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, its by a lot of stores which I really like.

I absolutely love bringing my daughter to this dental office! The doctor is incredibly kind and gentle, which makes her feel comfortable every time, doctor also explains everything thoroughly. The staff is always so positive, welcoming and really helpful. We truly appreciate the care they provide!

Great experience! All staff from the front desk to the back were professional, attentive and made me feel comfortable. My cleaning went very well. I asked for an alternate method to injection numbing and i almost had no pain during my cleaning very mild discomfort. I look forward to returning here again for my cleanings! Thank you ladies! Also got screened for Invisalign which im exited to try. They have a promotion going on for a discounted price right now.

DO NOT COME HERE, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!! I came to Valley View Dental in Manteca because of the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I don’t understand how this place maintains such a high rating. I think they ask family & friends.

I went in for a basic cleaning and check-up. I take good care of my teeth and have never had cavities. From the moment I arrived, the environment felt unprofessional. The front desk staff were young girls, dismissive, and more focused on laughing among themselves than helping patients. There was little sense of organization or care.

During my appointment, I was shocked by the lack of basic hygiene. Staff touched dirty computer screens and equipment and then put their hands back in my mouth without changing gloves. It made me extremely uncomfortable and concerned about sanitation. There was also no privacy chairs inside of the dental room were placed so close together that you could clearly see and hear what was happening with the person next to you.

The dentist himself spent only a minute or two examining me before leaving. The rest of the work was done by assistants who appeared inexperienced and rushed. Everything felt half-done and careless. It also appeared to me that the dentist I saw was the son of the older dentist who originally established the practice. He was very young and seemed inexperienced, which made the rushed nature of the exam even more concerning. As a patient, it did not feel reassuring or thorough, especially in a setting where you expect professional oversight and careful evaluation.

What disturbed me most was how fear was used to push me toward unnecessary and extremely expensive care. I was told that my wisdom teeth were “impinging on a vein or nerve” and that this was serious and potentially dangerous. The language they used made it feel urgent and alarming, as if something was very wrong. They insisted I needed a specialized head CT scan before anything could be done. When I asked where I would be referred, I was directed to another INDIAN doctor in another city and told it would cost thousands of dollars out of pocket. When I asked if a hospital scan or a more affordable option could be used, I was told no that it had to be done through this particular provider.

The entire situation felt like a setup: exaggerating a problem, instilling fear, and funneling patients to a “partner” office that profits from the referral. It did not feel like medical guidance- it felt like a business transaction disguised as concern. Later, when I went to a more established and professional dentist for a second opinion, I was told everything was normal. I had my wisdom teeth removed without complications and without any expensive CT scan. Nothing about my case was “serious” or dangerous.

Looking back, it felt like a scheme designed to scare patients into paying for unnecessary procedures through a closed network of referrals. That alone destroys any trust in this office. A healthcare provider should prioritize patient well-being, not inflate risks to generate profit.

Shortly after visiting this office, I became severely ill with mono. I had been healthy all summer, stayed at home, and then suddenly developed extreme symptoms – swollen lymph nodes, inability to eat, vomiting, and eventually hospitalization after being misdiagnosed and reacting badly to antibiotics. The timing combined with the lack of sanitation I witnessed has stayed with me and deeply unsettled me. The timing of everything and the only exposure I could get from mono I very strongly believe, I contracted it from this dirty place.

This experience affected my health and peace of mind for over a year with doctors visits and health I lost count of because of the mono. Between the hygiene issues, lack of professionalism, rushed care, and fear-based recommendations, I would strongly advise others to seek a more reputable, professional dental office.

Your health is not something to gamble with, I unfortunately learned that the hard way. Go somewhere that treats you with care, respect, and transparency.
